Set of 3 different sizes bronze sculptures. Official oil lamps from the 18th century (confirmed by a recognized expert) The handles are in the shape of Nagas (snakes, protection against all evil) There should be containers for the oil to let them burn. These are no longer there. These special sculptures are therefore purely for decoration.
For your information:
Nagas are a serpentine group of deities that often take the form of a cobra. They are prominent in Hindu iconography, in all Hindu texts (especially in the first book of the Mahābhārata) and in local folk traditions.
They are in a beautiful undamaged condition. See the photos for this.
